The Great War Of TROY
 The War of Troy, the most magnificent war of the history started as a result of Paris’ love for Helen, Menelaus’ wife. When Menelaus attacked to defend his wife’s honor, this great war between Greeks and Trojans appeared on the scene of history.
The first nine years of the war consisted of both war in Troy and war against the neighboring regions. The Greeks realized that Troy was being supplied by its neighboring kingdoms, so Greeks were sent to defeat these areas. The Greeks won many important battles and the Trojan hero Hector fell, as did the Trojan ally Penthesilea. However, the Greeks could not break down the walls of Troy. Still seeking to gain entrance into Troy, clever Odysseus (some say with the aid of Athena) ordered a large wooden horse to be built. Its insides were to be hollow so that soldiers could hide within it.
The result of this great war is obvious in history, but while you are playing The Great War of Troy, you have the chance to write the history again. All you need is courage, power and your weapons!
